Training Courses
Investment in Care staff is essential to maintain the quality of services the sector offers and we have developed a Training Centre –‘Principles in Practice’ (PiP) – that provides the basic and advanced training required by the Care Home Regulations. Our training is led by the needs of our clients and we provide a wide range of staff development to ensure that Care Staff and Managers are professionally informed and fully competent.
We also have a City & Guilds Approved Centre and provide training for Regulated Quality Framework (RQF) Level 2 & 3 Diplomas in Health and Social Care and for Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
We have a wealth of expertise at PiP and our own specialist tutors in several disciplines, as well as our own City and Guilds Assessors and Verifiers. We also use external professionals to deliver courses on our premises.
Our concern for Care staff and clients has been recognised in a series of awards, including: Investors in People (awarded in 2002 and reassessed in 2005 & 2008) and a Disability Confident Employer Status. The business is also ISO9001/2000 registered with BSi Global. Our City & Guilds status and the range of clients who have requested our training confirm the quality of our courses.
